From 25 April till 21 July 2024, the Attack on Titan: The Final Exhibition offered fans an immersive journey into the world created by manga artist Hajime Isayama. This event was the finale of a journey that had taken the exhibition through multiple cities across the globe, from Japan to Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Singapore, Indonesia, Korea, and finally Malaysia.
Alongside the exhibition, a fan art competition organised by LorryPop Studio and Dasein Academy of Art was held from 15 May to 23 June 2024. This contest, "Beyond the Walls: Battle for Humanity", provided an opportunity for all Malaysian artists from the age of 13 onwards to showcase their creativity and passion for the series. A standout feature was the student category, where talented winners were awarded not just recognition but Dasein Academy of Art’s very own scholarships. Lending their keen eye to oversee judging for this competition was Dasein Academy of Art’s President, Mr.Henz Gooi Hean Chye, and Mr.Sean Lee Chun Hing, the Deputy Head of Illustration Programme.
A total of RM25,000 worth of financial aid was presented, with the first prize winner receiving a RM10,000 Dasein Academy of Art Education Grant. The second and third prize winners were awarded RM8,000 and RM5,000 grants respectively. To round up the pool of winners, ten consolation prizes of RM2,000 grants were distributed.
These generous awards underscored Dasein Academy of Art’s commitment to nurturing young artistic talent and ensuring that the legacy of Attack on Titan continues to inspire creativity long after the exhibition's conclusion.
