KUALA LUMPUR, 1 January 2016 - Dasein Fine Art alumni Yeoh Choo Kuan is a recipient of the 2016 Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia (The Arts). Yeoh is a contemporary Artist who uses painting as his main medium to explore identity and sexuality- related themes. His work, which falls broadly under the genre of Abstract Expressionism, reflects on his upbringing in a traditional Malaysian Chinese family where sexuality and emotional expression are still a taboo. Yoeh recently exhibited at Art Central in Hong Kong under the Richard Koh Fine Art gallery, and is drawing attention internationally.
